We are seeking a Corporate Tax Senior to join a newly-established office for a Top-15 firm. This permanent role, based in Cardiff, offers an exciting opportunity to take responsibility for corporate tax matters and contribute to the success of the tax department.

Job Description

  • Prepare and review corporate tax computations and returns for a portfolio of clients.
  • Provide advice and guidance on corporate tax matters to clients and internal teams.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure tax compliance and planning opportunities are identified.
  • Assist in managing HMRC enquiries and resolving tax-related issues.
  • Support the tax department in delivering high-quality client service and meeting deadlines.
  • Keep up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and their potential impact on clients.
  • Contribute to the training and development of junior team members.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and identify opportunities for additional services.



The Successful Applicant

A successful Corporate Tax Senior should have:

* Relevant professional qualifications in tax or accountancy (e.g., ATT, CTA, ACA, or ACCA).

* Practical experience in corporate tax compliance and advisory work.

* Strong technical knowledge of UK corporate tax legislation and regulations.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build client relationships.

* Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

* A proactive approach to problem-solving and delivering solutions.
