Actively trade Emerging Markets hard‑currency credit, make markets, manage risk, and support primary issuance within a global flow trading platform. You will be working closely with internal teams and combining client-facing market making with disciplined risk taking and technology‑driven execution.

Job Description

  • Make competitive, consistent markets in Emerging Markets hard-currency cash products, with a focus on sustainable risk-adjusted returns.
  • Actively manage risk and run positions across bonds and CDS in CEEMEA credit markets.
  • Support primary market activity, including new issue pricing and distribution.
  • Provide market colour and trade ideas to Sales, clients, and DCM partners.
  • Trade and provide cover across other Emerging Market sectors within the desk as required.
  • Identify opportunities to grow market share and product revenues, executing initiatives to enhance franchise performance.
  • Maintain an active trading style with disciplined risk management controls.
  • Proactively leverage technology, data, and analytics to improve pricing, execution, and workflow efficiency.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Credit Trader should have:

  • Bachelor's degree, ideally in mathematics, finance, economics, engineering, or a quantitative discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience trading Emerging Markets credit, preferably CEEMEA corporates and financials.
  • Proven ability to price, manage, and trade EM risk independently.
  • Strong understanding of fixed income instruments and credit markets.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel.
  • Programming or scripting skills (e.g. Python, Java).
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a high-paced trading environment.
  • Comfortable processing and acting on large volumes of information in real time.
