Job Description

  • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts to support business objectives.
  • Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to optimise inventory levels.
  • Monitor and analyse sales trends to adjust forecasts accordingly.
  • Lead the S&OP process.
  • Identify potential supply chain risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on demand planning performance to stakeholders.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align supply and demand plans.
  • Utilise demand planning software and tools to enhance forecasting accuracy.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve demand planning processes and efficiency.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Demand Planning Manager should have:

  • Proven experience in forecasting & demand planning or within the FMCG industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and forecast trends.
  • Proficiency in demand planning software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-departmental coordination.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Experience in managing inventory and supply chain optimisation strategies.
  • A degree or equivalent qualification in supply chain, business, or a related field.
