Job Description

Forecasting & Planning

  • Review customer forecast changes against inventory, existing forecasts, and sell‑out data, mitigating risks to revenue.
  • Build accurate forecasts, challenging assumptions based on trends, MOQs, and demand behaviour.
  • Load all forecasts into JEM accurately and on time.
  • Analyse forecast vs. actual performance, driving accountability and improvements.
  • Provide weekly forecast summaries to Sales, including risks, coverage, lead‑times, and promotional activity.
  • Collaborate with Sales on range changes, validating timings and communicating launch updates.



Supply Planning & Inventory Management

  • Convert forecasts into weekly supply plans, identifying shortages or overstocks and working with Supply to ensure OTIF delivery.
  • Support creation of weekly shipping requirements alongside the Senior Planner.
  • Oversee incoming customer orders, ensuring alignment with forecast and supportability of off‑forecast orders.
  • Review safety stock levels and replenishment strategies based on demand and lead times.
  • Lead inventory reporting and partner with Sales to reduce aged inventory.



Customer & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build strong relationships with key customers, understanding their planning processes and expectations.
  • Ensure Sales teams have clear actions for discontinued or delisted products, considering volume and value impact.
  • Work closely with Procurement on supply requirements and new product launches.



General

  • Support the Senior Planner and Head of Supply Chain with ad hoc tasks and continuous improvement initiatives.



The Successful Applicant

A successful Demand & Supply Planner should have:

  • Background in demand and supply planning within a fast‑paced, multi‑SKU or consumer‑focused environment.
  • Highly analytical with strong problem‑solving abilities and confident forecasting skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, able to communicate effectively and influence across teams.
  • Able to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines with a customer‑centric mindset.
  • Proactive, detail‑oriented, and commercially minded with the confidence to challenge constructively.
  • A collaborative team player who thrives in a continuously evolving environment.
