Working with senior stakeholders, they drive innovation, delivery and long-term capability while governing design, compliance and continuous improvement across multi-site operations within regulated, mission-critical environments globally.

Job Description



Director Of Engineering:* Sets and owns the engineering strategy aligned to business and programme goals
* Leads large, multi-disciplinary engineering teams across complex programmes
* Provides governance for engineering quality, safety and technical assurance
* Oversees design, development and lifecycle support of mission-critical systems
* Works closely with executive stakeholders, customers and regulators
* Drives innovation, continuous improvement and engineering best practice
* Manages engineering risk, capability planning and succession development
* Ensures compliance with regulatory, contractual and internal standards

The Successful Applicant

Director Of Engineering:

* Senior engineering leader with experience in regulated, safety-critical sectors
* Strong background in systems, hardware or complex product engineering
* Proven track record of leading large engineering organisations
* Commercially aware with experience supporting major programmes
* Credible at executive level with internal and external stakeholders
* Demonstrates strong governance, assurance and risk management capability
* Experience operating in matrix environments
* Degree qualified in Engineering or a related discipline
