Job Description

  • Manage and optimise eCommerce platforms to enhance customer experience and drive sales.
  • Monitor online product listings, ensuring accurate descriptions and competitive pricing.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to implement digital campaigns and promotions.
  • Analyse website traffic and sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely product delivery.
  • Regularly update and maintain product catalogues and inventory levels online.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer retention and satisfaction.
  • Stay updated on eCommerce trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.



Account Management

      • Ocado - support in the form of a day-to-day account management administrative role i.e complete and submit monthly promotional nomination forms, complete new line forms for NPD, monthly promotional audits, weekly update of sales reports, promotional analysis, manage and reconcile a significant media budget (together with the Shopper Marketing and E-commerce Executive).
      • Zoom by Ocado - account management.
      • Amazon (Core & Fresh) - account management.
    • E-Commerce
      • Setup and manage Epsilon (Citrus) / Criteo - retailer.com campaigns via these bidding platforms - monitor campaigns and complete post campaign analysis.
      • Maintenance of current optimised pack images and content on retailer.com and develop new optimised images and content for all NPD.
      • Manage Brandbank.
      • Implement, monitor and track Ratings & Review programme, and update monthly Ratings and Reviews tracker.
      • Responsible for the maintenance and updating of the Mainstream Product Bible.
    • D2C (Online Shop)
      • Support with monthly campaign briefs and creative process (ideation to implementation).
      • Consumer Care support.
      • Fulfilment provider support.
      • Responsible for monthly promotional setup.
      • Upload of weekly / monthly JDE report.



    • B2B (App based ordering platform)
      • Manage this business initiative across the Foodservice and Ethic business sectors.
      • Further develop this initiative (which is currently still in its infancy).

The role involves working in a fast-paced everchanging environment, requires a pro-active & creative approach and deliver against specific timescales.

The Successful Applicant

A successful eCommerce Executive should have:

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to engage, negotiate and manage key stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Results orientated with ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Commercially and financially astute with experience of managing budgets.
  • Resilient, self-motivated and able to work well under pressure.
  • Creative thinking.
  • Pro-active approach.
  • Agility and flexibility.



Experience Ideally Needed

  • Ideally 2-3 years' experience within a similar role / Account Executive / E-commerce.
  • Hold a degree level or equivalent qualification.
  • Be highly organised and driven with an ability to manage multiple tasks / projects & a diverse workload, be pro-active, action orientated and be able to use initiative.
