Job Description

  • Lead the development and implementation of equality impact assessments across the organisation.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant equality legislation and regulations.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to integrate equality considerations into organisational policies and procedures.
  • Provide training and guidance to teams on equality and diversity matters.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of equality initiatives.
  • Identify areas for improvement and propose actionable solutions to address gaps in equality practices.
  • Support the Human Resources department with strategic equality-related objectives.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in equality and inclusion within the leisure, travel & tourism industry.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Equality Impact Assessment Manager should have:

  • A strong understanding of equality legislation and its application in the workplace.
  • Experience in conducting and managing equality impact assessments.
  • Proven ability to engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders effectively.
  • Excellent organisational and analytical skills to assess and improve policies.
  • Knowledge of the leisure, travel & tourism industry is advantageous.
  • A commitment to promoting equality and inclusion in professional settings.
