This Finance Analyst role will support the firm's financial reporting, performance analysis, and strategic decision-making. You will be responsible for analysing financial data, preparing insightful management reports, and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities. Working closely with key stakeholders, you will provide the financial insights needed to assess business performance and support informed investment and commercial decisions.

Job Description

  • Analyse financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
  • Prepare accurate financial reports and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate with various departments to gather financial information.
  • Provide support for audits and financial reviews.
  • Work on improving financial processes and systems where necessary.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate must have:

  • A relevant degree, with a 2:1 preferred.
  • Be actively studying towards ACCA or CIMA.
  • 1-2 years' experience within Investment Management, Asset Management, Wealth Management, or Financial Services.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A proactive, commercial mindset with a willingness to improve processes.
