We are looking for a reliable, detail orientated finance assistant to support our busy finance team based in St Helens. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to work in a fast paced, team focused environment supporting across all areas of the finance function.

Job Description

  • Supporting all day to day accounting operations
  • Management of cash book and bank reconciliation
  • Responsibility for credit control
  • Assist in assessing customer credit worthiness, monitoring credit limits
  • Query resolution of customer invoices
  • Processing of invoices and credit notes
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Accruals and prepayments
  • Payroll support



The Successful Applicant

  • Studying towards AAT or early stages of CIMA / ACCA
  • Strong attention to detail
  • SAP experience desirable not essential
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Ability to plan and organise work load
