Job Description

  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making across the organisation.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to develop and monitor budgets and forecasts.
  • Identify key business trends and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
  • Support cost control initiatives and drive efficiency improvements across the business.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to department heads, offering guidance on financial matters.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of long-term financial strategies.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Business Partner should have:

  • A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, and business partnering.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities for engaging with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools, as well as advanced Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of the Transport & Distribution sector is advantageous.
  • The ability to work effectively in a hybrid working environment.
