Finance Business Partner

Business Partnering - Act as a trusted, visible and accessible point of contact to

business leaders; providing strategic, commercial and financial decision support.▪ Customer focus - Understand the customer landscape and their numerous, complex drivers. Develop customer relationships to successfully contribute to commercial and financial negotiations regarding items such as variable revenue, extensions/rebids and change notices.

▪ Commerciality - Understand the value drivers of the business and provide guidance on contract/service performance including ROI, scenario planning, KPI analysis and benchmarking. Proactive identification, assessment and management of financial and commercial risks. Monitor and drive the implementation of resulting actions.

▪ Strategic and critical thinking - Support the portfolio strategy through market, competitor and portfolio analysis, insights and recommendations; inform and influence market entry and exit decisions. Provide decision support for new business, drawing upon the Commercial and Legal teams, as appropriate.

▪ Operational Excellence - Responsible driving value through identification of over and under delivery against contractual obligations, performing root cause analysis, and making recommendations. Drive contract/service cost optimisation projects through profitability analysis and efficiency recommendations.

▪ Ownership of the Budget and forecast - Responsible for ensuring that budgets and forecasts are aligned with business direction and that business plans in place to achieve committed financial targets.
