Job Description

  • Provide financial insight and advice to support decision-making processes across the organisation.
  • Prepare, monitor, and analyse budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
  • Support the delivery of financial strategies that align with organisational goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Identify and address financial risks and opportunities proactively.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and policies.
  • Act as a key point of contact for financial queries from stakeholders.
  • Provide support during audits and lead on implementing any required improvements.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance BP should have:

  • A professional qualification in accounting or finance (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data effectively.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance in the public sector.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Excel.
