Job Description

  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support operational decision-making.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to ensure financial targets are achieved.
  • Monitor budgets and forecasts, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior stakeholders.
  • Analyse cost drivers and recommend strategies for cost optimisation.
  • Support the implementation of financial controls and processes.
  • Assist in evaluating operational performance through key financial metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Business Partner should have:

  • A background in accounting or finance, preferably within the transport and distribution industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to communicate financial insights effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
