Job Description

  • Prepare and review financial reports to support decision-making processes.
  • Collaborate with departmental teams to manage budgets and forecasts effectively.
  • Provide financial analysis to support operational and strategic objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Monitor expenditure and highlight variances to ensure financial efficiency.
  • Assist in the preparation of year-end accounts and audits.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements within financial operations.
  • Support the wider team with ad hoc financial tasks as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Business Partner should have:

  • A background in accounting or finance, ideally within a not-for-profit setting.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data effectively.
  • Proficiency in financial management systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • The ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail.
  • Previous experience dealing with internal and external stakeholders
  • Previous experience of financial modelling is beneficial
