Reporting to the Financial Controller, this is a varied and exciting role for someone willing to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in whilst ensuring a high standard of financial control. This will be suitable for a qualified candidate from practice or industry.

Job Description

  • Prepare and oversee accurate financial reports and budgets.
  • Manage financial controls and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Analyse financial data to provide insights and support strategic decisions.
  • Supervise and mentor junior finance team members.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes.
  • Ensure timely submission of tax and regulatory filings.
  • Develop and improve financial systems and processes.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Manager should have:

  • A relevant accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • They are open to first time movers from practice as well as industry qualified candidates.
  • Proven experience in financial reporting and analysis.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations within the property industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and software.
