A company within the retail industry, based in Warwick . This is a large, well-established UK-based specialist group with a significant national footprint and a complex, multi-entity structure.

The business continues to evolve through acquisition and growth, making this an excellent opportunity to gain genuine exposure across Group Finance, consolidation, technical accounting, M&A and senior stakeholder management within a highly regarded organisation.

Job Description

  • Support Group monthly reporting across multiple entities
  • Prepare and review consolidation workings and statutory accounts
  • Provide support on technical accounting and GAAP gap analysis
  • Assist with external audit, accounting standards and reporting requirements
  • Gain exposure to M&A, acquisitions and post-acquisition integration
  • Support holding company accounting, dividends and foreign currency accounting
  • Work closely with Finance, FP&A, Tax, Treasury and Legal
  • Provide support on Group Finance projects and process improvements
  • Strong exposure to senior stakeholders and Group Finance

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Manager should have:

  • A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting and analysis.
  • Strong understanding of accounting standards.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and software.
  • Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
