Save Job Back to Search Job Description Summary Similar JobsHybrid Working - 2 days in and 3 from homeWell respected Financial Services organisationAbout Our ClientLeading Financial Services organisation based in Bromley - this role will be based 2 days in the office and 3 from homeJob DescriptionKey Responsibilities will include:Financial AccountingLead month‑end and year‑end close activities.Prepare and review journals, accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, depreciation, intangibles, leases and intercompany transactions.Complete key reconciliations across bank, balance sheet and P&L.Financial OperationsSupport AP and operational finance, including invoice coding, payment runs and expenses.Handle internal and external finance queries.Regulatory & ReportingAssist with VAT, PSA, Pension Relief at Source and other recurring regulatory submissions.Support quarterly and IFRS‑related reporting cycles.Controls & Process ImprovementMaintain strong internal controls and ensure documentation standards are met.Identify improvements, streamline manual processes and support automation initiatives.Team SupportCoach and guide junior finance team members and help strengthen team structure and confidence.The Successful ApplicantMy Client is looking for someone with the following experience and attributes:Qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)Strong experience in month‑end accounting and reconciliations.Excellent Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups; automation a plus).Background in financial accounting or financial control.Financial Services Experience / Experience of working in a regulated environment would be highly beneficialImmediate Availability.Calm, structured, collaborative and hands‑on, with a pragmatic and delivery‑focused approach.What's on OfferA day rate commensurate with experience, between £285 per day and £450 per day (if umbrella company).
