Job Description

  • Prepare accurate financial statements and reports in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing processes efficiently.
  • Oversee general ledger accounting and reconciliations.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities to support financial planning.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and liaise with external auditors as needed.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
  • Maintain and improve internal controls to safeguard the organisation's assets.
  • Support the Accounting & Finance department in ad-hoc financial projects.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Financial Accountant should have:

  • A recognised accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
  • Proven experience in financial reporting and compliance within the business services industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of relevant accounting standards and regulations.
