Job Description

  • Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with regulatory standards including FVA and Companies House.
  • Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end reporting.
  • Manage the group reconciliation of accounts and resolve discrepancies effectively.
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting processes to aid decision-making.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve financial processes.
  • Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Provide expertise in financial systems and reporting tools.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Financial Accountant should have:

  • Professional qualifications in Accounting or Finance (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting standards.
  • Experience in financial statement preparation and budget management.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
