This will include preparation of weekly cashflow reports, review of periodic bank reconciliations and managing general administration tasks with the bank.Prepare and submit internal and external periodic financial reporting as required by stakeholders, maintaining a close reporting relationship with these stakeholders.Responsible for the coordination of the completion of the annual statutory accounts, including related disclosures, liaising with auditors and professional advisors to ensure that the accounts are signed in line with agreed timelines.Responsible for Corporation and Deferred Tax calculations on a periodic basis including liaison with professional advisers to complete and submit data.Provide board and management accounts information and variance analysis on balance sheet, cash flow and debtor movements.Responsible for maintaining reconciliations between different accounting bases e.g. Group, StatutoryProduction of technical papers in support of year end statutory accounts.Responsible for review and sign off of journals and balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring technical compliance with Group accounting policies and accounting standards.Design and implementation of control procedures in all areas of responsibility.Required to support and drive forwards a culture of continuous improvement and using this as a vehicle to upskill and mentor direct reports.Management of frameworks relating to financial review of potential new suppliers and advising on commercial matters where required.The Successful ApplicantA successful Financial Accounting Manager should have:Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), with significant post qualification experienceExcellent technical knowledge of IFRS for year end reporting purposes, as well as day-to-day balance sheet accountingExperience of Treasury management and Group reporting processes in a multi-stakeholder environmentExperience of managing and developing accounting staffAbility to demonstrate implementation of process and control environment improvementsStrong written and verbal communication skills are critical as the role requires frequent contact with all levels within the organisation and with Group.
