Job Description

  • Oversee the organisation's financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Prepare and present financial reports, including budgets, forecasts, and annual accounts.
  • Manage cash flow, ensuring the organisation's financial stability and sustainability.
  • Lead and support the accounting team to achieve departmental objectives.
  • Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors to ensure smooth processes.
  • Monitor and review financial policies, procedures, and systems for improvement opportunities.
  • Provide financial guidance to senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory financial obligations and reporting requirements.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Financial Controller should have:

  • A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, or CIMA).
  • Proven experience in financial management within the not-for-profit sector or similar industries.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
