Job Description

  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with applicable regulations and standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance.
  • Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Maintain and improve financial reporting processes and systems.
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and ensure accuracy in reporting.
  • Provide support for ad hoc financial projects and analysis as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Financial Reporting Accountant should have:

  • A professional qualification in Accounting or Finance (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
  • Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulations.
  • Experience in preparing financial statements and conducting variance analysis.
  • Proficiency in financial software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
