An established and highly respected organisation is seeking a Financial Reporting Senior Manager to lead statutory reporting, technical accounting and external audit activities across its group structure. This role offers the opportunity to work within a complex financial environment while helping to maintain strong governance, compliance and financial controls.
  • 6 Month FTC
  • Hybrid working, 3 days wfh a week.

Job Description

    • Lead the production of statutory and interim financial statements across a group of entities.
    • Act as the subject matter expert on IFRS and technical accounting matters.
    • Manage relationships with external auditors and oversee the audit process.
    • Ensure robust financial governance, controls and compliance standards are maintained.
    • Oversee financial asset and liability reporting, including IFRS 9 assessments and documentation.
    • Maintain accurate accounting records and audit trails.
    • Support the continuous improvement of financial reporting processes.
    • Partner with stakeholders across the business to provide technical accounting guidance and support.



The Successful Applicant

A successful Financial Reporting Senior Manager should have:



  • The successful candidate will be a technically strong qualified accountant with extensive experience in financial reporting and statutory accounts preparation.

    You will bring:
    • Strong IFRS and technical accounting expertise.
    • Experience producing complex consolidated financial statements.
    • A background within banking, investment management, financial services or another similarly regulated environment.
    • Previous experience managing external audits.
    • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality reporting.
    • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
    • The ability to work collaboratively whilst influencing senior decision-makers


What's on Offer

    • Salary between £56,000 and £62,500, pro rata dependent on the level of experience.
    • Hybrid working with an expectation of two office days per week.
    • Fixed-term contract through to March 2027.
