Job Description

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients to understand their recruitment needs and provide clear updates.
  • Speak with candidates to understand their experience, career aims and suitability for available roles.
  • Source, screen and shortlist candidates for vacancies, ensuring information is accurate and relevant.
  • Write and post job adverts that reflect the duties and requirements of each vacancy.
  • Arrange interviews and coordinate feedback between clients and candidates to keep processes moving.
  • Manage recruitment records and candidate details carefully, keeping information up to date.
  • Guide candidates through each stage of the hiring process, from application to offer.
  • Work towards agreed placement targets through consistent client and candidate engagement.

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Recruitment Consultant' should have:

  • Experience of managing recruitment processes from vacancy briefing through to placement.
  • Confidence in speaking with clients and candidates by phone, email and in person.
  • Ability to source and assess candidates against clear job requirements.
  • Experience of writing accurate job adverts and maintaining candidate records.
  • Good organisation skills to manage several vacancies and interview arrangements at once.
  • A clear and professional approach to providing updates and handling recruitment information.
