Job Description

  • Prepare and manage group financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Oversee the consolidation process for group accounts in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with regional finance teams to streamline processes and improve reporting accuracy.
  • Assist with audits by preparing necessary documentation and addressing queries.
  • Monitor and manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices in financial reporting.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Group Accountant should have:

  • A relevant accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
  • Experience in financial reporting and consolidation within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Proficiency in using financial reporting software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and implementing process improvements.
