Job Description

  • Oversee the preparation of accurate financial statements and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage budget planning, monitoring, and forecasting processes.
  • Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Oversee internal controls and implement improvements where necessary.
  • Coordinate with external auditors to ensure smooth audit processes.
  • Supervise and mentor the finance team for optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of financial goals.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Group Finance Manager should have:

  • A recognised accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
  • Experience in financial reporting and budgeting within the not-for-profit sector.
  • MUST have Schools experience
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and compliance regulations.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop a team.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders.
