You will work alongside commercial, operational, clinical and executive leaders to shape innovative service solutions that improve patient outcomes, reduce pressures on healthcare systems and deliver measurable value for commissioners.Key responsibilities include:Leading the development of winning bid strategies for complex healthcare opportunities, often involving multi-million-pound commissioned services.Partnering with senior clinical and operational stakeholders to translate service excellence into compelling proposals.Driving bid governance, quality assurance and best-practice processes across the organisation.Building and developing a high-performing bid team focused on continuous improvement and delivery excellence.Enhancing bid capability through the adoption of AI, digital tools and knowledge management frameworks.Leading executive reviews, decision gateways and strategic pursuit planning for priority opportunities.Using market intelligence, performance data and lessons learned to continually improve bid quality, conversion rates and contract win performance.The Successful ApplicantYou will be an experienced bid professional with a successful track record of securing complex healthcare, NHS or public sector contracts and leading teams in high-performing bid environments.You are likely to possess:Significant experience leading complex healthcare, NHS, social care or outsourced public service bids.A strong understanding of NHS commissioning, public procurement and competitive tender processes.Experience developing compelling value propositions that resonate with commissioners, clinicians and operational stakeholders.Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing bid teams.Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking capabilities.Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to influence senior executives and clinical leaders.Experience introducing innovative approaches, including AI and digital technologies, to improve bid quality and efficiency.Outstanding communication, writing and storytelling skills.An APMP qualification or equivalent would be advantageous.
