Job Description

  • Lead the development and implementation of the organisation's financial strategy.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
  • Ensure robust financial controls and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Provide strategic financial advice to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Monitor and optimise resource allocation to support operational efficiency.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Commercial Finance should have:

  • A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent.
  • Strong experience in financial management within the Not For Profit sector or similar environment.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop a high-performing finance team.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and tools.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
