Job Description

As the Head of Compliance and Building Safety, you will:

  • Ensure full compliance with building safety regulations and standards across all properties.
  • Lead on the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures.
  • Oversee risk assessments and ensure any required actions are carried out promptly.
  • Manage audits and inspections to maintain safety and regulatory standards.
  • Provide strategic advice and updates to senior leadership on compliance and safety matters.
  • Coordinate training and development initiatives to promote compliance awareness.
  • Act as the main point of contact for regulatory bodies and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor and report on performance metrics related to compliance and building safety.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Compliance and Building Safety should have:

  • Demonstrated experience in compliance and building safety within the property sector.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant regulations and safety standards.
  • Proven ability to manage audits, inspections, and risk assessments effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills for liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Capability to develop and implement policies and procedures successfully.
  • Experience in providing strategic advice to senior leadership teams.
