This role sits in the commercial team and is responsible for heading up the strategy for customer retention and customer growth.

Job Description

  • Manage a team of 10+ in client management - account management, retention, customer growth.
  • Develop and implement customer retention strategies to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Lead and manage a team focused on improving customer success outcomes.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure retention targets are met.
  • Collaborate with sales and service teams to provide seamless customer experiences.
  • Analyse customer feedback and data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to senior management regarding retention performance.
  • Champion a customer-centric approach across the organisation.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Customer Success (Retention) should have:

  • Experience in a leadership role within the insurance industry.
  • A strong background in managing a team of retention specialist, or account managers.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire teams to achieve performance goals.
  • Proficiency in analysing customer data and leveraging insights for strategic decisions.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a results-driven mindset.
  • A solid understanding of customer-centric practices and strategies.
