Job Description

    • Lead and deliver the overall financial strategy aligned to organisational priorities
    • Act as the principal financial advisor to the CEO, Board, and senior leadership team
    • Oversee all financial operations, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory bodies and standards
    • Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
    • Produce high-quality management information and statutory accounts
    • Provide insight and challenge to support decision-making across the organisation
    • Develop and lead a high-performing finance team
    • Monitor financial performance and drive continuous improvement across services



The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Finance will ideally be:

    • Fully qualified accountant (ACCA / ACA / CIMA or equivalent)
    • Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role
    • Strong track record of strategic financial planning and delivering organisational change
    • Excellent knowledge of governance, compliance, and regulatory frameworks
    • Strong leadership capability with experience developing teams
    • Confident working with senior stakeholders at Board level
    • Values-driven, with a genuine interest in making a positive impact
