Job Description

  • Develop and execute merchandising strategies to achieve business targets.
  • Oversee product selection, pricing, and inventory management to maximise sales and profitability.
  • Analyse market trends and customer preferences to inform decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design and marketing, to ensure cohesive brand representation.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators to assess product success.
  • Lead and mentor a team of merchandising professionals within the retail department.
  • Ensure alignment with the company's overall goals and brand identity.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Merchandising - Fashion should have:

  • Proven experience in merchandising within the fashion industry.
  • Experience working at Head of level for at least a few years
  • A strong background in retail and FMCG operations.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret market data effectively.
  • Leadership qualities to manage and inspire a team.
  • A deep understanding of premium fashion trends and consumer behaviour.
  • Strategic thinker, likes to plan long term and think bigger picture
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work across departments.
