Having experienced impressive growth in recent years, they are now looking to expand their manufacturing leadership team with the introduction of a Head of QHSE. This role will provide strategic leadership, ensure compliance and promote a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organisation.Job DescriptionThe Head of QHSE will report directly into the Managing Director and will have overall responsibility for all Q&HSE activities on site.The main priorities of this role are to:Lead the QHSE team and collaborate with Production, Engineering and Operations colleagues to embed world-class QHSE practices.Develop, implement and oversee an integrated QHSE framework, ensuring alignment with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and any additional industry standards.Ensure robust quality assurance and improvement procedures are developed, implemented and maintained across the business.Maintain product compliance and certification requirements for manufacturing, including documentation, NCR control and continuous improvement.Oversee integrated QHSE management systems compliance including internal audits, customer audits and external certification body engagements.Report on QHSE performance to the board members, providing insights, KPIs and recommendations for improvement.The Successful ApplicantSuccessful candidates will have a strong manufacturing background and a proven ability in managing QHSE teams before.
