Job Description

The interim Head of Supply Chain will:

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Oversee procurement and inventory management processes to ensure optimal stock levels.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align supply chain objectives with business goals.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Monitor and analyse key performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the supply chain team to achieve operational excellence.
  • Identify and manage risks within the supply chain to ensure business continuity.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Head of Supply Chain should have:

  • A strong background in procurement and supply chain management within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement effective supply chain strategies.
  • Experience in building and maintaining supplier relationships.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and drive decision-making.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management systems and tools.
