A respected housing provider is seeking a Litigation Solicitor to join its growing litigation team in Walsall. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior disputes lawyer to gain hands-on experience across a broad range of housing matters while learning within a supportive three-person specialist team.

Job Description

The Litigation Solicitor will be:



  • Managing a caseload of in-house litigation matters


  • Advising on tenancy disputes, possession proceedings and anti-social behaviour cases


  • Supporting the organisation on disrepair and enforcement matters


  • Working closely with housing officers and operational teams


  • Assisting in developing best practice and risk management processes

The Successful Applicant

The Housing Solicitor should be:



  • A solicitor or equivalent with some litigation experience


  • Ideally familiar with housing law or property-related disputes


  • Confident managing their own caseload with appropriate supervision


  • Able to provide practical, solutions-focused legal advice


  • Keen to develop specialist expertise within housing litigation
