Job Description

You will be responsible for:

  • Provide day‑to‑day HR administrative support across the full employee lifecycle
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date employee records within the HR system
  • Coordinate onboarding activities including contracts, documentation, and inductions
  • Prepare HR documentation such as contracts, letters, policy updates, and staff file changes
  • Act as the first point of contact for routine HR queries from employees and managers
  • Support recruitment processes, including interview scheduling and candidate coordination
  • Manage leaver processes, ensuring all exit documentation is completed accurately and on time
  • Assist with employee relations activity by preparing documentation for probation reviews, disciplinaries, grievances, and performance reviews
  • Collate and submit payroll changes and support the administration of employee benefits
  • Support HR reporting, data accuracy, audits, and regulatory or compliance requirements
  • Contribute to HR projects and initiatives such as policy reviews, wellbeing programmes, and process improvements
  • Ensure all HR activity complies with UK employment law, GDPR, and internal standards

The Successful Applicant

What You'll Need to Be Successful:

  • Proven experience in an HR Administrator or HR support role, with exposure across the employee lifecycle
  • A good working knowledge of UK employment law fundamentals, GDPR, and HR best practice
  • Confidence using HR systems and Microsoft Office, with a strong focus on data accuracy
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to respond to employee and manager queries professionally
  • High attention to detail, particularly when handling contracts, employee records, and sensitive information
  • A proactive, self‑starting approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A flexible and adaptable mindset, comfortable working in a fast‑paced, regulated environment
  • CIPD Level 3 (or working towards) would be advantageous
