Job Description

  • Provide HR advice and guidance to managers and employees on policies, procedures, and employment law.
  • Support recruitment processes, including drafting job descriptions, advertising roles, and coordinating interviews.
  • Manage employee records and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems.
  • Support performance management processes and provide coaching to managers as needed.
  • Handle employee relations matters, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Coordinate training and development programmes to build staff capabilities.
  • Contribute to fostering an inclusive workplace culture aligned with organisational values.

The Successful Applicant

A successful HR Advisor should have:

  • Previous experience in a similar HR role within the Not For Profit sector or related fields.
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a focus on continuous improvement.
