Job Description

  • Oversee and manage daily HR operations, ensuring compliance with current employment laws and regulations.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's objectives in the Transport & Distribution sector.
  • Provide guidance and support to management on employee relations, performance management, and HR policies.
  • Monitor and manage HR metrics to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in all HR processes.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement, workplace culture, and morale.
  • Collaborate with leadership to support organisational development and change management programmes.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting of employee data and HR activities.

The Successful Applicant

A successful HR Operations Manager should have:

  • Proven expertise in HR management within a fast-moving, agile sector.
  • Would suit someone either from a standalone position or managing a lean HR function.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Experience in employee life-cycle management.
  • Exceptional organisational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and provide consultative support to managers and employees.
  • Proficiency in HR systems and tools for data management and reporting.
