We are seeking a dedicated Infrastructure Project Manager to oversee and deliver key initiatives within the property industry. This temporary role will focus on driving technology projects to successful completion while maintaining high standards.

Job Description

  • Define and agree project scope, outputs, timescales and quality for IT infrastructure project, ensuring business requirements are fully understood and met.
  • Establish project structure, roles, and teams to ensure efficient and effective delivery of infrastructure initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans for Device Refresh activities, including inventory assessment, scheduling, logistics, and user communications.
  • Plan, manage, monitor, and report on the work of project team, ensuring effective change control and risk management throughout the Device Refresh project lifecycle.
  • Ensure all deliverables comply with established methodologies and governance frameworks.
  • Proactively identify and resolve risks and issues, particularly those related to large-scale hardware deployments, reporting and end user impact.
  • Manage all stages of the project lifecycle, including entry and exit criteria for each phase, with clear reporting to stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and a collaborative approach, stepping outside traditional project management boundaries when necessary to ensure successful delivery.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure seamless integration of external resources into device refresh plans.
  • Manage multiple infrastructure projects concurrently, effectively prioritising and balancing resources, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Infrastructure Project Manager should have:

  • Proven track record delivering infrastructure projects, specifically large-scale device refresh or hardware lifecycle management programmes, managing budgets in the range of £1-2 million.
  • Technical familiarity with core components and technologies relevant to Device Refresh, including networking, servers, data centres, cloud platforms (Azure), and ITSM tools such as ServiceNow.
  • Familiarity with IT Security Principles such as Cyber Essentials, ISO 27001, DLP.
  • Supplier and vendor management excellence, with demonstrable success in SLA adherence, and fostering strong partnerships to ensure timely delivery of hardware and services.

  • Outstanding organisational and communication skills, capable of engaging and influencing senior IT and business stakeholders across multiple functions.
  • Proactive and detail-oriented, with the ability to anticipate risks, manage dependencies, and drive results in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Assertive and articulate leadership style, promoting collaboration and building strong relationships across internal IT teams.



Device Refresh-Specific Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end device delivery and returns processes, ensuring clarity of roles and responsibilities across technical, logistics, and business teams.
  • Working closely with technical lead for stock ordering, configuration, and resolution of technical issues, maintaining alignment with project timelines and quality standards.
  • Ensure effective scheduling and resource planning, including early engagement of engineers and schedulers to accelerate deployment.
  • Drive continuous improvement by leveraging lessons learned (e.g., streamlined returns process, direct delivery models) to optimise efficiency and user experience.
