Job Description

  • Prepare and analyse financial reports related to development projects.
  • Prepare and coordinate month end reporting
  • Preparing cash flows
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities for the department.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
  • Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Monitor project costs and ensure accurate allocation of funds.
  • Support the preparation of audit documentation as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Interim Development Accountant should have:

  • Relevant qualifications in accounting or finance (Part Qualified or Qualified)
  • Experience working within the housing sector (either private or public)
  • Month end reporting and reconciliations experience
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
