As a medium-sized organisation, it provides a structured yet collaborative work environment.Job DescriptionThe key responsibilities within this role:Monthly management accounts to year end standard (I&E, Cash Flow, Balance Sheet, Capex) including supporting commentary and variance analysisAssisting the leadership team in preparing budgets and forecasts, including the annual 5-year financial planDeliver accurate, complete and timely statutory returns (ensuring consistency across them)Deliver monthly forward-looking cash flow forecasts to support decision making and statutory reportingActively manage the treasury resourcesOversight of monthly processes and actions to ensure strong debt management process are being adhered to and support by associated analysis and reportingOversight of monthly processes and actions to ensure strong P2P environment and effective delivery of creditors ledgerBe responsible for the creating and maintaining a robust financial control environmentEnsure that appropriate financial regulations and accounting procedures are implemented and kept up to date with reference to industry standardsAn excellent communicator with the ability to lead various internal teams and transactional sub teamsEstablish strong working relationship with Financial Director to ensure alignment of prioritisation and effective use of resourcesThe Successful ApplicantThe successful candidate will possess:A full accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)Experience of successfully leading and managing direct reportsKnowledge of preparing financial forecasts and annual budgetsProven experience of developing and enhancing management accounts and associated processesOutstanding organisational and analytical skillsExcellent oral and written communication skills with attention to detail in presenting financial information combined with ability to produce meaningful commentary on financial trends and performanceBe an expert in budget planning and monitoringProven ability to translate technical accounting reports or information into management information to support strategic decision making.Extensive experience of developing reporting to communicate financial insight to business leaders and budget owners to promote financial sustainability.Experience of working alongside senior stakeholders to guide decisions to a financially sustainable outcomeWhat's on OfferThere is a highly competitive day rate on offer (inside IR35).
