This is a temporary opportunity for an experienced Interim Legal Counsel to support with the drafting and negotiation of commercial contracts.

Job Description

The Interim Legal Counsel will hold the following responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts.
  • Work closely with sales teams for the set up of new customer contracts.
  • Provide strategic legal advice to internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Manage and mitigate potential legal risks for the business.
  • Support on intellectual property matters and data protection issues.
  • Advise on corporate governance and compliance frameworks.
  • Collaborate with external legal counsel as needed.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Interim Legal Counsel should have the following skills and experience:

  • Proven expertise in contract negotiation and commercial law.
  • Experience of working closely with sales teams and customer contracts
  • Previous experience of working within software, Technology, AI etc would be beneficial
  • Knowledge of intellectual property and data protection regulations.
