Job Description

  • Manage procurement processes to ensure compliance with organisational policies and regulatory standards.
  • Evaluate supplier contracts and negotiate terms to achieve cost savings and service improvements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Analyse procurement data to identify trends and opportunities for efficiency.
  • Support the implementation of procurement strategies aligned with organisational goals.
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods and services while maintaining quality standards.
  • Advise on supply chain risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare detailed procurement reports for senior management review.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Interim Procurement Specialist should have:

What's on Offer

Interim Procurement Specialist role, this is initially a 3 month contract paying £300 per day (Inside IR35) and you are required onsite in Wakefield 3 days per week. You will require an enhanced DBS for this role.
