The key elements of the role are:Establish a project plan to review various structures including line, embankments and bridges along a railway line, working with external organisations to implement improvement plans.Creation of a full monitoring and maintenance plan including actions, that will guide the organisation on likely future costs and service interruptions (if relevant) over the next 5 to 10 years.Work with the broader engineering teams to implement the necessary processes to ensure safe and productive working and appropriate reporting.Perform a review of process and performance and create a fit-for-purpose organisation structure and training needs analysis to enable to organisation to work effectively.The Successful ApplicantThe interim Project Manager will be an experienced engineer, will have worked in the rail industry previously, and have exceptional project management skills.
