If so, this one could be for you.My client is looking for a Senior Finance lead for a one off major PFI funded Capital investment Infrastructure project. The project will be in excess of £600m spend and has complex finance arrangements.The Finance Project lead will;Prepare and review financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.Manage project budgets, providing regular updates and forecasts.Manage complex finance arrangementsCollaborate with stakeholders to ensure financial goals are met.Analyse financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.Support the implementation of financial controls and processes.Provide advice on financial matters related to projects.Ensure timely completion of financial audits and reconciliations.Assist in preparing financial presentations for senior management.As this is a task and finish project, it could be treated as a statement of works, therefore could be deemed outside if IR35. Inside IR35 is also available.The Successful ApplicantA successful Interim Senior Project Accountant should have:Fully qualified AccountantLarge scale Financial project experienceIdeally PFI finance experienceknowledge or use of 5 case modelsExperience in financial reporting and project accounting.Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.A solid understanding of financial regulations and compliance.Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.The ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.What's on OfferDaily rate up to £550 per day (inside or outside IR35)Hybrid working model for flexibility and convenience.6 month initial contractIf you're interested in this role, apply now.People are at the heart of Michael Page.
