Job Description

  • Assist in sourcing and purchasing seasonal products for the retail department.
  • Support in negotiating with suppliers to achieve the best terms and conditions.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform purchasing decisions.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
  • Collaborate with the merchandising team to ensure stock levels meet customer demand.
  • Develop relationships with suppliers to secure reliable sources of high-quality goods.
  • Analyse sales patterns to forecast future buying needs.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Junior Buyer - Seasonal should have:

  • Previous experience or knowledge in the retail industry or a related field.
  • A strong understanding of purchasing and supply chain processes.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to analyse data and make informed decisions.
