Job Description

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with retailers to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Act as the main point of contact for client communications and inquiries.
  • Oversee retail accounts, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to the highest standard.
  • Negotiate prices with customers, and maintain a detailed critical path.
  • Work closely with designers to develop attractive product for customers, which hit their briefs.
  • Prepare and present reports on account performance and retail feedback.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within existing accounts.
  • Resolve any retail concerns or issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Stay updated on trends and developments.

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven experience in account management with a fashion supplier, or experience at buyer level for a fast paced retailer.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain customer relationships.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in using Excel, and relevant software tools and platforms.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and solving customer needs.
  • An understanding of the retail and fashion markets and their dynamics.
