Job Description

The Legal Counsel will be:

  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements with a focus on media and trading arrangements
  • Providing clear and practical advice on contract interpretation and supporting early-stage dispute resolution
  • Partnering with internal stakeholders on contract negotiations, including risk assessment and mitigation
  • Identifying and clearly communicating key contractual risks and differentiating levels of exposure
  • Supporting training initiatives to improve contract awareness and compliance across the business
  • Assisting with the implementation of best practice processes in contract management and governance

The Successful Applicant

The Legal Counsel should be:

  • A solicitor or equivalent with strong experience in commercial contract drafting and negotiation
  • Commercially minded with a pragmatic and solutions-focused approach
  • Confident communicating legal concepts clearly to non-legal stakeholders
  • Highly organised with strong ownership and attention to detail
  • A collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving business environment
