Its reputation for excellence, forward thinking approach, and focus on continuous improvement makes it an attractive destination for ambitious legal professionals seeking long term career growth.Job DescriptionThe Legal Counsel will be:Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of commercial contractsSupporting procurement teams with contract negotiations and supplier arrangementsAdvising on data protection matters including data processing and cross border transfersCollaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with policies and standardsEnhancing and streamlining contracting processes and frameworksWorking closely with risk, compliance and information security teamsProviding proactive, business focused legal advice to support decision makingIdentifying and mitigating legal and commercial risksSupporting the development of colleagues within the procurement functionThe Successful ApplicantThe Legal Counsel should be:A solicitor or equivalent with 2 years PQE or aboveExperienced in commercial contracts including technology or procurement agreementsKnowledgeable in contract law, data protection and risk managementAble to deliver pragmatic, commercially focused legal adviceConfident managing workload and prioritising effectively in a fast paced environmentA strong communicator with excellent drafting and negotiation skillsCollaborative, proactive and able to work autonomouslyProfessional and capable of handling sensitive mattersWhat's on OfferThis is an excellent opportunity to join a globally recognised professional services business during an exciting phase of growth.
