This is a genuine growth hire, offering exposure to both new deal execution and an established portfolio of high-profile transactions.Job DescriptionLoan Agency VP:This job is a highly specialised Loan Agency and Transaction Management role where the focus is on executing, administering and managing Project Finance transactions throughout their lifecycle.Working within a small and experienced team, you will be responsible for managing both new and existing transactions across sectors including renewable energy, infrastructure and other alternative asset classes. Approximately 50% of your time will be spent on transaction execution and closing activities, with the remaining 50% focused on portfolio management and ongoing deal administration.Key responsibilities include:Managing Project Finance and Loan Agency transactions from execution through to maturityReviewing and negotiating legal documentation alongside external counsel and transaction partiesCoordinating lenders, borrowers, sponsors, investors and other stakeholders throughout the deal processSupporting transaction closings, amendments, waivers and restructuringsAdministering loans, payments, notices and reporting requirementsActing as a key point of contact for client and stakeholder queriesManaging long-term relationships associated with live transactionsEnsuring transactions operate in accordance with documentation, regulatory requirements and internal controlsWorking closely with legal teams, financial advisers and banking counterpartiesSupporting a growing portfolio of Project Finance and Infrastructure transactionsThis role offers genuine client exposure and the opportunity to build long-term relationships with senior stakeholders, including CFO-level contacts, whilst remaining firmly focused on transaction management rather than business origination.The Successful ApplicantLoan Agency VP, City of London, Banking and Financial Services Industry:You will have worked for an established loan agency, agency services provider, bank agency team, corporate trust business doing this role already!3-5+ years' experience within Loan Agency, Agency Services, Corporate Trust or a closely related transaction management environmentStrong understanding of Project Finance transactions and documentationExperience managing transaction execution, deal closings and ongoing administration activitiesAbility to review and negotiate legal documentation with confidenceExperience working with borrowers, lenders, sponsors, investors and legal advisersExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneouslyGenuine interest in Project Finance, Infrastructure and Renewable Energy marketsExperience gained within a bank agency team, corporate trust business, agency services provider or similar environment would be highly advantageousAbility to operate independently whilst contributing to a small, collaborative teamCandidates from Loan Agency backgrounds will be particularly well suited to this opportunity. Professionals coming from Agency Services, Corporate Trust, Project Finance Administration or Trustee Services environments are also encouraged to apply.
